The Ministry of Foreign Relations (Mirex) says it is taking actions to protect Dominicans who are in Israel after the terrorist raids of Hamas.
Mirex said that 17 Dominicans had contacted the diplomatic mission in Tel Aviv to express their concerns and the possibility of being evacuated from that country as a security measure. Likewise, Mirex added that it is making contacts with friendly governments to enable these Dominicans to return or relocate to another country as soon as possible.
The Ministry reported it has not yet received reports of Dominicans injured or killed in the start of the conflict.
In addition, he notified that the Dominican Embassy in Israel has the WhatsApp +972 3-611-4883 contact number for Dominican nationals. Using this number, those interested can report any emergency or request assistance. The Ministry says Dominicans must remain alert and take appropriate measures to respond to the situation.
