Eleven Dominicans landed in Quito, Ecuador on Monday, 16 October 2023, part of 194 Latin Americans that flew in on a humanitarian chartered flight that consolidated citizens from eight Latin American countries. The Ecuador government chartered the flight to bring its citizens and had space for other Latin Americans. On board the flight were 116 people from Ecuador, 52 from Peru, seven from Costa Rica, 4 from Guatemala, 2 from Honduras, one from Bolivia and 1 from Paraguay, said the Ecuador government. Eighteen mascots also flew with the travelers. The flight had departed from the Tel Aviv International Airport.
