The Association of Eastern Hotels (Asoleste) named Carlos Jiménez, director of Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino, its hotelier of the year.
Asoleste took into account his good performance over a career of almost three decades, and his contributions to the growth, improvement of the quality of services and innovation of the tourism sector in the Caribbean.
Jiménez currently holds the position of regional director of Lopesan Hotel Group in the Caribbean and director of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino.
A press note release on the award indicates that since its opening in 2019, the hotel’s vacation all-inclusive proposal has gradually evolved to include seven a la carte restaurants.
The executive chef of Lopesan Costa Bávaro, Rubén Gómez, recently was honored during the 21st edition of The Caribbean Gold Coast Awards for the resort’s culinary offering being a benchmark in the Dominican and Caribbean hotel industry. The resort has also been awarded the 4 diamonds of the AAA Travel Service program.
