El Dia reports that employees at the Ministry of Sports are being asked to participate in a raffle for which staff would request contributions of RD$1,000 to fund the Avanzada Democratica Moderna political movement that backs the reelection bid of President Luis Abinader. Recently, President Luis Abinader removed the director of the Small Business Agency (Promipymes), Porfirio Peralta for promoting a similar raffle.
