
Around 20 restaurants in Santiago, members of the Dominican Association of Restaurants (Aderes) and the Gastronomic Union of Santiago (Ugasa), are inviting to the Second Restaurant Week Santiago.
Santiago is the second largest city in the Dominican Republic and prides itself in its diverse gastronomy.
The activity is taking place from 20 November to Sunday, 26 November at participating restaurants. The restaurants have created special recipes and menus for their customers.
This year, the emphasis is on using local ingredients to support food producers in the northern region, said Omar Cepeda, president of (Aderes) and Larissa Fernández from (Ugasa).
The event promotes iconic city restaurants and the creativity of its chefs to attract new diners and satisfy frequent visitors.
