Britain’s Daily Mail publishes a report explaining that the days of Dominican resorts being “cheap and cheerful, a kind of Ibiza in the tropics,” are coming to an end. He visited Punta Cana and reports that informality and stylishness prevail at many many resorts, and people are paying much more for vacations and getting much more from the plush hotels.
