The presidential spokesperson, Homero Figueroa confirmed that President Luis Abinader is on vacation leave. Figueroa tweeted:” President Luis Abinader is enjoying a well-deserved Christmas break in his family’s company. Despite the pause, he remains attentive and connected. He will soon resume his usual duties.”
The whereabouts of Abinader have not been announced, but Diario Libre has reported the President traveled to the United States for the family gathering.
