The Executive Branch declared electricity generation projects and traditional sources of high national interest
President Luis Abinader issued Decree 3-24 declaring the promotion and development of traditional and renewable energy projects of high national interest. The projects are needed to meet the growing electricity demand and maintain the stability of the power service in the Dominican Republic.
