After two consecutive losses, the National District team in the playoffs, the Licey Tigers defeated the Estrellas Orientales 5-0. The game was played in San Pedro de Macoris.
The playoffs are a seven-game series. The team to win the first four travels to Miami to play in the Caribbean Series.
