
The founder of the movement that has led women’s volleyball to world class, Cristobal Marte suggests the Dominican government remove the around RD$30 million in subsidies provided to the Dominican Olympic Committee every year to solve the disputes among the members. He said if there is not the generous allotment, then only those genuinely committed to sports would be working in the COD, as reported journalist Carlos Sanchez in Diario Libre.
Marte has also suggested that all resign in the Dominican Olympic Committee.
