He is too good at the job. The National Police announced the return of long-time spokesperson for the Police, Diego Pesqueira. He had been removed with the change of the head of the Police and had taken a job with the Ministry of Education since 8 January 2024. He now is back at his long-time job as director of communications and public relations for the National Police.
He had been replaced by Colonel Rafael Tejeda Baldera on 14 November when Mayor General Ramon Antonio Guzman Peralta was named director of the Police.
