The Senate of the Dominican Republic has on agenda to choose the five members of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) and their replacements. The JCE members are in charge of organizing elections in the Dominican Republic and the organization and upkeep of the civil registry.
The five that were chosen in November 2020 to direct the JCE now seek to continue in their positions. These are presiding judge Roman Andres Jaquez Liranzo, and members Rafael Armando Vallejo Santelises, Dolores Altagracia Fernandez, Patricia Lorenzo and Sami Rafael Chami Isa.
The term of the JCE members and replacements began on 11 November 2020 and expires on 11 November 2024.
