What is known is that the Venezuelan politician Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia is unlikely to be still registered at the Hotel Embajador in Santo Domingo where he was known to have stayed during his visit 8 to 12 January 2025. The enhanced security is no longer there.
Diario Libre had reported he would leave the country on Sunday, 12 January. But where he was headed was not revealed nor an update given on precisely when he left the country. El Nacional reports there is no certainty on Gonzalez’s departure or where he would be headed.
