In this expanded role, Kycek will oversee the corporation’s branding, communications, and marketing strategies, while continuing his duties as senior vice president of sales and marketing at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas.
“We are thrilled to appoint Jason to this prestigious position and welcome him to the senior leadership team of Central Romana Corporation,” said Andrés Pichardo, president of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. “Jason’s exceptional achievements in driving profitability within Casa de Campo and successfully leading strategies to position our brand and manage revenue have earned him this highly regarded title, and we look forward to seeing what he will accomplish in this new role.”
Central Romana Corporation reports that since joining Casa de Campo in January 2017, Kycek has led the company to consecutive years of record-breaking sales. He has also facilitated the company’s growth and sales, marketing, and revenue management strategies with a deep commitment to excellence, elevating the guest experience and ensuring continued profitability for shareholders.
The company says that Kycek has tirelessly introduced new and exciting offerings to the resort, such as the new Premier Club & Suites, a state-of-the-art spa and wellness center, and the annual Casa de Campo Food & Wine Festival, solidifying La Romana as a culinary hotspot in the Dominican Republic, Diario Libre reports.
Additionally, Kycek has expanded the resort’s network of trusted partners in key areas like aviation, golf, and fashion. For instance, he created the Casa de Campo private jet program, offering guests exclusive access to private flights with Wheels Up, Vista Jet/XO, and Sentient Jet. Kycek has also forged partnerships with American Airlines to increase flight options to La Romana and with Braman Motorcars to provide exclusive benefits to loyal members.
In the golf sector, Kycek has fostered strategic alliances to enhance the visibility of the resort’s golf courses, while also integrating them into online platforms like EA Sports and Golfzon/Trackman. Furthermore, Kycek has introduced new retail partners and expanded the resort’s events and programming, bringing events such as Oktoberfest and farmers markets to Casa de Campo.
Before joining Casa de Campo, he had served as vice president of sales and marketing for Occidental Hotels and Resorts, in charge of sales and marketing for the company’s Caribbean, Mexican and Latin American properties.
