The Chamber of Deputies voted “yes” to the bill that changes the current commercial and residential rentals legal scheme in the Dominican Republic. The bill was passed on 31 July 2025, after midnight, in the same marathonic round that rendered the Penal Code bill.
Both bills move to the Senate for approval in the extraordinary legislature that runs through 5 August 2025.
