The Dominican Republic senior women’s volleyball team began the Final Six, the regional Norceca, championship with a win over Cuba 3-0. But then, the team lost to Puerto Rico in three sets 3-0. The Reinas del Caribe next lost their game on 17 September against the United States (3-1). The DR has yet to play Canada on 18 September at 6pm and the hosts Mexico on 19 September at 8pm.
The top four teams at the conclusion of round-robin play will advance to the crossover semifinals.
