As the cold weather trickles into the northeastern United States, for those living in western Connecticut and Massachusetts it is good to know there are now direct flights to Punta Cana from Bradley International Airport (BDL). Avelo Air has nonstop flights year-round, twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The flight takes about four hours.
BDL is located in the city of Windsor Locks on the western side of Connecticut. It is close to Hartford, Connecticut and the Springfield, Massachusetts metropolitan areas. It is the second-largest airport in New England and is situated roughly halfway between Boston and New York City.
