President Luis Abinader said the government will draft a detailed report on the use of emergency funds and contracting to repair and provide relief for damages caused by recent heavy rains. The government recently declared emergency state status for 14 provinces to expedite contracting. Speaking during the weekly press conference, the President said the funds would assist in repairs to school and road infrastructure damages by the intense rains.
