Dr. Luis Peña Núñez officially assumed the leadership of the Dominican Medical Association (CMD), taking the oath of office as the new national president for the 2025-2027 term.
The swearing-in ceremony was held this Friday at the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National Library.
Dr. Peña Núñez was inducted by the outgoing president, Dr. Waldo Ariel Suero, and his board of directors. The transition was carried out in accordance with the Medical Collegiation Law (68-03), formally establishing the new authorities who will guide the CMD for the upcoming two-year period.
