On Friday, 15 January, the National Symphony Orchestra will be in Higuey for the annual Concierto Altagraciano. Maestro Jose Antonio Molina will conduct the orchestra. A lively program has been scheduled, including the “Danza Final” from the Suite of the Ballet Estancia, Opus 8 by Alberto Ginastero, described as a full-fledged malambo, representing a macho dance contest between gauchos, and the Romeo & Juliet Overture-Fantasy by Tchaikovsky.
