Santo Domingo will host an international film festival from 10 to 20 March. The festival enables Santo Domingo audiences to watch films that are not distributed through the usual channels.
Event organizer Arturo Rodriguez said it would be held at the Palacio del Cine cinemas at the Bella Vista Mall. This year’s festival is dedicated to Chile.
Films from Germany, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Spain, United States, France, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela and host Dominican Republic will be screened.
A jury made up of Jorge Camara, Angela Hernandez, Carlos Mario Pineda (Colombia), Maritza Alvarez and Cesar Rodriguez will judge the participating films:
