Casa de Teatro in Santo Domingo’s Colonial City is hosting the Casa de Teatro Jazz Festival every Thursday through 26 July. The festival continues with Spanish Soundfest this evening, Thursday, 5 July, with the duo of Javier Infante & Jose Alberto Medina from the Canary Islands. On Thursday, 12 July, King of Cai from Andalucia and on Thursday, 19 July the stage is set for Taxalapartas – Ttukunak (Basque Country). The closing evening is on Thursday, 26 July with Jaume Vilaseca Trio and Ravi Chary, from Barcelona. Tickets for the festival are on sale for RD$500 for events in the Cristobal de Llerena hall and RD$300 for the Cafe Teatro.
