The National District public prosecutor’s office says that it will be asking for one year remand in jail for the ex Director of Prisons, Mario Acosta, for allegedly receiving a bribe of RD$1 million from the supposed head of a gang of drug dealers Pascual Cordero Martinez, also known as El Chino or El Gordo.
