Puerto Plata is celebrating its annual jazz event, the Dominican Republic Jazz Festival. The festival, which starts on Friday, 2 November, consists of three nights of beach, good music and food and lots of fun on Sosua and Cabarete Beach.
The schedule for jazz events is:
* Friday, 2 November at the Parque Mirador, Sosua: Juan Francisco Ordonez Trio (DR) Guitarras Latinas (Juan Francisco Ordonez, Pancho Amat and Pedro Guzman, RD-Cuba-PR)
* Saturday, 3 November, Cabarete: Workshops, Seminars, Conference and Master Class, Youth Concerts. Yasser Tejeda & Palotre (DR), Fabrizio Sotti with Ricky Rodriguez and Henry Cole (Italy, PR, USA), and Stanley Jordan (USA).
* Sunday, 4 November, Cabarete: Claudia Acuna with Fabrizio Sotti (Chile, Italy), Cuco Valoy with Ramon Orlando (DR).
