President Medina to speak tonight

President Danilo Medina has recorded his speech to the nation about the first 100 days of his government, which will be broadcast on radio and television at 9pm tonight, Tuesday 27 November.

During the recording the President was accompanied by the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Jose Ramon Peralta and Gustavo Montalvo, Minister of the Presidency as well as Presidential Communications Director Roberto Rodriguez Marchena.

President Medina is expected to speak about the performance of various ministries and will also make important announcements concerning new measures to help the poor.

He will attend mass in the chapel at the Presidential Palace at 6pm this evening to give thanks for his first 100 days in office.
