In response to concerns about the levels of violence in the country, the Minister of the Armed Forces Admiral Sigfrido Pared Perez has announced that his agents would continue to do patrol duty at least until April under the pilot plan for mixed patrols that is currently in force all over the country. Admiral Sigfrido Pared Perez told reporters from Listin Diario that to in order to deal with the level of violence his agents would continue to work with the National Police in patrols, intelligence and manpower. The Minister was interviewed after leaving the Mass celebrated by Cardinal Lopez Rodriguez to bring in the New Year.
