The Punta Cana Hard Rock Hotel is promoting forthcoming concerts by contemporary music stars Juan Luis Guerra from the Dominican Republic and Juanes from Colombia. Juan Luis Guerra is booked for a performance on Saturday 2 February for an audience of just 3,000. Guerra, who usually performs to sell-out crowds of 35,000+ at venues like the Olympic Center, will be singing his greatest hits. Hotel general manager Ramon Alvarez said that hotel + concert packages would be sold. Some 500-600 tickets will be available for purchase by residents of the Punta Cana-Bavaro area for US$150, US$200 and US$250 for the evening. A second concert is planned for 30 March, Holy Saturday, with Colombian singing star Juanes. More shows by big name artists are to follow this year. The shows are produced by Pablo Pou.
