Yesterday, Tuesday 5 February, the Chamber of Deputies enacted the law to issue US$1 billion worth of sovereign bonds to be invested in the international markets, as well as to cover the internal public debt for more than RD$45 billion, as requested by the Executive Branch.
They also approved a bill for controlling and regulating firearms, munitions, explosives and related items, as proposed by Deputy Victor (Ito) Bisono.
In addition they approved the proposal to give the city of Moca, in Espaillat province, the honorary title of “Patrimonio Cultural” n national heritage.
