The World Baseball Classic that brings together 16 teams from around the world begins 2 March with games in Fukuoka, Japan and Taichung, Taiwan. The Dominican team gets into action a week later in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with a 7-10 game schedule. The DR will play Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Spain.
