On Thursday, 28 February the Police arrested and deported a Canadian man sought by his country’s authorities on charges that include pedophilia. 81-year old Charles Philippe Joseph Cote was arrested in Sosua, in the northern province of Puerto Plata. Dominican Interpol said that Joseph was wanted in Canada for charges of pedophilia, child sexual exploitation and prostitution. Joseph Cote was the subject of an Interpol Red Notice (2013/7527) requested by Canada. He was deported to Canada on an Air Canada flight that left from Punta Cana International Airport.
