The Presidency announced yesterday, Thursday 18 April that the National Literacy Plan has a chapter to teach students with special needs. The plan will cover students with intellectual, hearing, visual or other physical disadvantages, who have not yet learned to read and write. President Danilo Medina, Vice President Margarita Cedeno, Education Minister Josefina Pimentel and Presidency Minister Gustavo Montalvo were present for the announcement yesterday at the Presidential Palace.
