It was a sunny morning, with lots of energy and fun. Parents, children and families enjoyed the Cartoon Network Races that were held from the early hours yesterday, Sunday 5 May in the Mirador del Sur Park in the capital with over 3,000 competitors. The races were structured according to age categories, with older children and teenagers running first, in stages with warm-ups encouraged by music. Everything ended a little after eleven in the morning with the last race, and then all the winners were announced. This is the first time that the characters from the Cartoon Network have visited the Dominican Republic for these races that began on Saturday 4 May with the distribution of the kits and ended yesterday with the sporting event.
