The Coliseo Gallistico de Santo Domingo on Av. Luperon presents the 2013 Intercontinental Cockfighting Cup from Tuesday 4 – Thursday 6 June. More than 100 fighting cocks from 15 countries will compete during the three days of the tournament.
In 2010, Deputy Elpidio Baez presented a bill to the Chamber of Deputies seeking to ban cockfighting in the Dominican Republic.
