Maestro Dante Cucurullo will be conducting the Juan Pablo Duarte Symphony Orchestra performance on Thursday, 4 July at the National Music Conservatory. The concert will celebrate the youth orchestra’s 20th anniversary. The concert is set for 8pm. Cucurullo said that the orchestra is constantly renewed because many of the musicians are hired by the National Symphony Orchestra or leave to pursue other areas of their profession. The orchestra is made up of 72 youths that study at the National Music Conservatory.

Scottish Fantasy (E-flat major, Op. 46), Max Bruch, with violinist David Diaz as soloist.
And Bolero, the one movement orchestral piece by Maurice Ravel.
