Enerolisa back home

The story of a missing child is usually headline material, but when it occurs in a very poor barrio or ?batey? it often lacks public attention. Not so in the case of Enerolisa, a four-year-old girl taken from her home by a Haitian woman named Marisol 14 days ago. The story was carried in some of the papers but not given the spotlight. Neighbors in the bateyes around San Luis did not forget, however, and yesterday at 7:00am, a motoconcho delivered the girl to her very happy parents. The man seized the child after spotting her with Marisol in Capotillo. Police have since arrested the woman. Apparently there is no logical explanation for the abduction, since the woman had been combing the little girl?s hair when the abduction took place. According to the medical examiner?s office, the girl was not harmed or molested.
