Cristina Ventura died in Dajabon yesterday, Monday 22 June, as the result of a traffic accident between an SUV being driven by a Haitian former consul and the motorcycle on which she was a passenger.
As reported by the Metropolitan Transport Authority (AMET) on the Twitter social network, the accident happened when the motorcycle was hit by the SUV. The former consul, who has not been named, then fled the scene.
