Former member of the National Classical Ballet, civil engineer and dance teacher Dilia Mieses is in Santo Domingo and will be giving merengue, bachata and salsa courses at the second floor space of COPE on Winston Churchill Avenue in Santo Domingo. Mieses is certified in Club Style by Dancesport (New York).
She will be teaching basic and beginner classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8-20 August from 7-8pm. The students may continue with an intermediate level class that begins 22 August through 3 September with two-hour classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost for the basic and beginners class is RD$1,800 and RD$3,500 for the longer lasting intermediate course.
A free basic and beginners introductory class will be given on 6 August from 7-8pm, and the free intermediate class will be on Tuesday, 6 August from 8 to 9pm.
