The National Executive Committee (CEN) PRD has approved the nomination of Peggy Cabral as acting party president, Danilo Julio Santos as General Secretary and Anibal Garcia Duverge as General Secretary of the organization in replacement of Andres Bautista, Orlando Jorge Mera and Geanilda Vasquez.
The resolutions, read by party president Miguel Vargas, were approved immediately during a ceremony yesterday, Wednesday 31 July.
The CEN also approved a report presented by the party’s Disciplinary Board expelling former president Hipolito Mejia and Andres Bautista from the party and suspending Orlando Jorge Mera and Geanilda Vasquez for two years.
