Internationally acclaimed Dominican jazz pianist Michel Camilo will play two concerts to raise funds for the Dominican Rehabilitation Association. These concerts are part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Rehabilitation, which was founded and guided all these years by Mary Perez de Marranzini. The first concert will take place on 8 October in the Gran Cibao Theater in Santiago (in front of the Monument) and the other on 10 October in the Carlos Piantini Hall of the National Theater in Santo Domingo. The name of the concerts is “What’s up?” the title of Camilo’s new album. The Rehabilitation Association has 27 branches all over the country and is especially focused on aiding and assisting people with physical and mental disabilities. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGVmZTOUl4o
