Security at Najayo Jail has been increased for Leavy Nin Batista and Sobeida Felix Morel, the wife and girlfriend of international drug trafficker Jose David Figueroa Agosto. Ysmael Paniagua, spokesman for the Najayo Women’s Jail, said that the measures were taken after the Puerto Rican drug capo accused his lawyer Ramon Negron Colon of asset laundering and attempted bribery when standing trial in Puerto Rico. The lawyer was arrested in Puerto Rico.
Nin and Felix are serving five-year jail sentences for money laundering related to the Figueroa Agosto case.
