The Attorney General’s office has launched an investigation to find out who has fraudulently taken ownership of more than 1,324,000 square meters of land that were part of the La Barranquita Sports Complex in Santiago.
At a press conference yesterday, Monday 2 September Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito and Sports Minister Jaime David Fernandez Mirabal said that they would be carrying out an investigation in response to concerns expressed by various sports bodies in Santiago.
Dominguez Brito promised that the investigation would be thorough and thanked the Minister of Sports for his help in identifying those responsible for taking the land.
