UTESA given a year to correct weaknesses

The National Council of Higher Education has given the Technological University of Santiago, better known as UTESA, one year to improve its infrastructure and laboratories on its six campuses. The decision was taken during the Council’s last session, whose results were given to Listin Diario by the chairwoman of the Council and the Minister of Higher Education, Ligia Amada Melo. She said that the National Education Council read an evaluation of each of the six campuses, which made a series of recommendations for improvements, especially in the university buildings and the laboratories.
