A memorable concert will take place tonight, Wednesday, 11 September at the National Theater in Santo Domingo. The National Symphony Orchestra will play music by Kabalevsky, Kodaly and Grieg, starting at 8:30pm. Conducted by Caonex Peguero, the orchestra presents Peng-Peng Zhang as guest pianist. On the program is music by Dmitri Kabalevsky, Overture to Colas Breugnon Op 24, Zoltan Kodaly, Hary Janos Suite Op. 15 and Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concert in A minor, Op 16 for piano and orchestra.
