First Lady Candida Montilla was at the Ciudad de la Salud medical center in Santo Domingo East to visit the parents of quintuplets who were born last weekend. Three of the five babies have survived. The First Lady said the government would provide a house for the parents Noelia Elizabeth Duarte and Julio Cesar Paniagua. Paniagua was given a government job. The apartment is located in the Hato Nuevo neighborhood in Manoguayabo, where the government is building a new complex. The surviving babies are doing well, reports hospital director Rafael Draper.
