The BHD Group has received a US$2.5-million loan from the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) to institute programs and procedures that will substantially reduce the cost of remitting funds from the United States to the Dominican Republic. The process will include the installation of 500 computer terminals in various commercial establishments in the DR as well as more modernized locales for clients in the US.
