The judiciary has once again decided to ask for more time to study the case on the privatization of the Bahia de las Aguilas beach lands in the southwestern province of Pedernales. Judge Alba Luisa Beard Marcos, of the 8th Hall of the Land Court adjourned the case until 5 May 2014. She accepted a request made by the lawyers for the accused. The court ordered the government to conduct an extensive land survey in the area.
