The editor of Diario Libre, Adriano Miguel Tejada, communicators Mario Rivadulla, Freddy Sandoval, Leonardo Aguilera and the vice president of the National Business Council (CONEP) Rafael Paz are on the commission that has been appointed to monitor the inventory to be carried out of around 60,000 civil registry books from 1929 to 2007. In a press conference yesterday, Tuesday 29 October at the Central Electoral Board (JCE), Felix Reyna said that Fr. Mario Serrano of the Centro Bono and the Haitian Pastoral Service, Dominican-Haitian Women’s Movement and Reconocidos have been invited to be part of the commission in order to guarantee transparency of the work. The revision follows a request by the National Migration Commission and work is set to start on Thursday, 31 October nationwide.
