Adriano Roman has been admitted to the Jose Maria Cabral and Baez hospital in Santiago after he fainted at the Rafey Men’s prison.
Roman is in jail accused of hiring hit men to murder his ex-wife Miguelina Llaverias and lawyer Jordi Veras.
He was taken to hospital under strict security measures and the hospital spokesman, Johnny Lama said that he had complained of chest pains so he was kept in for evaluation.
In September Roman had asked to be released under house arrest but his request was denied.
