Talks and movies at the Centro Cultural BanReservas

BanReservas has opened a cultural center to the general public at its Calle Isabel la Catolica 202 location opposite the bank’s former head office in Santo Domingo’s Colonial Zone. Free parking is available. The cultural center will organize free screenings of Dominican films and classic films, and even dance classes.

On the schedule are important talks to take note of:

On Thursday, 14 November, architect Jose Enrique Delmonte will talk about the historical legacy of the Colonial City.

On 28 November, Fidel Munnigh will share insights into the life of Juan Pablo Duarte, forefather of the Dominican nationality.

On 29 November, Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Diaz will take part in a panel discussion with Dominican authors Scherezade Vicioso, Cesar Sanchez Beras and Pedro Valdez.
