It could well be the lowest credit card rate in the Dominican Republic. Venezuelan bank Banesco has just announced that its credit card holders can benefit from 48% interest rate on delayed payments. The benefit, nevertheless, is restricted to account holders at the bank. El Caribe reports the interest rate is 18 points less than its closest competitor.
